Note: the secret message is published on a public link. Therefore, don’t send any sensitive information, like passwords, email addresses and phone numbers.

Did you receive a QR card? To unlock the secret message and the name of the sender, you have to solve the nonogram puzzle!

The result of the puzzle is a QR code which you can scan with the camera of your phone or a QR code app. After solving the puzzle and scanning the QR code, the secret message will be unlocked!

Be careful, because if you make a mistake or don’t color within the lines, you will never find out who sent you this card and what message is left.

The puzzle on your card is a famous Japanese Logic Puzzle, also known as a Nonorgram, Picross, Griddler or Paint by Numbers puzzle. The goal is to paint an image based on the clues which are shown on the outside of the grid. The result of the puzzle on your card will be a unique QR code which you can scan!

Most Android and iOS devices have a QR code scanner in the camera app. Here is a great article on how to do this. This is the easiest way!

It is also possible to download an app to scan the QR code. Just search for “QR code scanner” in the Apple App Store or in the Google Play Store.

I tried the above steps, but I can’t scan the QR code. What to do?
– Check if you solved the puzzle correctly
– Check if you colored within the lines (a small margin is allowed, but make sure the center of the cells is colored)
– Scan the QR code from a further distance

If those steps didn’t work you can send a mail to info@qrpuzzles.com. Make sure to send a picture of the solved QR code.

We highly recommend not to make a mistake.. Here are some tips:

• Take a picture of your puzzle before you start. This way you can print the puzzle again to start over in case it is needed.
• Solve the puzzle with a pencil first. After you solved the puzzle you can use a black marker to color the cells.
• If your new to Nonogram puzzles, you could check some tutorials or play some online Nonogram games before starting the one on your card

In case you still made a mistake, you can use an online tool to draw and color your grid. E.g. this tool.

No of course not! Our support does not help you to solve the puzzle, but you can of course ask friends or online communities for help.
